Land for rent!
In the vincinity of the city of Morgana, the Lancre district will offer you a nice place to live in the shadows of Lancre and Aegir castle.

The castle will be able to protect you and your families from foreign attacks.

Located around a mountain between the sea and the lower valey, the district is ideally suited for living as well as vacation housing.

The Castles / Counties
The Castle of Lancre will offer protection to all citizens of the district of Lancre during time of danger.
Lancre Castle
Ownership: Disorganizer, Knight of Lancre
Location: 1/-3
The Lancre Castle (since 1575BC) is purely built to defend its vincinity. With complete defense improovements and Catapults with Fanatikan Fire, it is well suited to repell any attackers.
Aegir Castle
Ownership: Grandmaster
Location: 1/-2
Beneath Lancre castle in a valey, this castle controlls the access to Morgana City. The terrain the castle resided on was freshly aquired by the Lancre bloodline, and the former owner is granted the right to hold his castle on that tile.
Barony of Kultis
Ownership: Padma
Location: 2/-2
This area recently joined the district. Soon a castle will be built there. The Barony controlls the northern access to morgana city and the ocean.
County of Mara
Ownership: Padma
Location: 0/-3
This County is a yet unsettled wilderness. It is the access point to the lower valey for the district.

Pricing
The rental prices are very moderate and will be on a per turnchat base. Infrastructural improovement in the future will be included. Not included will be the housing.
Private Land:
5gold per turn-chat (normal housing, not on oceanfront)
10gold per turn-chat (housing on oceanfront tile)
Business Land:
normal tiles: no fee!
oceanfront: 10% of income, with a minimum of 30g/TC
All businesses located in lancre can use the emblem of the lancre coat of arms for their businesses and products.

Access to the ocean
Due to "diversities" between the administration of Morgana and the Administration of Lancre about Morgana joining Lancre, we are sorry to be forced to charge 50g/tc for access to the beach. As lancre owns all tiles of Morgana at the oceanfront, Morgana citizens will not be able to reach nor to see the ocean until they pay this price. We are sorry for the inconvienience.

Of course, all Lancre residents are free to use the oceanfront at will and without extra charge, even if they do now live at the oceanfront.

Ownership
The tiles are owned by the persons listed here. The rental-profit of the district is equally distibuted amon them according to the number of tiles they own.

Lancre district is more than a mountain. It is the gate to the valey, the riches future area of fanatika. We have a beautiful scenery here. You should come and take a look, octavian!

Now anyways, we shall have some knight festivities someday. With jousting turneys and such things! We should also have an index of castles for knighthood reference.

And one thing all knights should support:
At the moment, a palace is better defended than a castle. This shall not be as this is not accurate. A palace is for living, a castle for defending. So i try to convince shaitan to add some more defensive and offensive improovements to the castles which can only be build in castles. And therefor cut down the palaces of some of their military improovements.
