This is an info poll to see if our citizens want any techs kept secret.

There was no prior discussion of this issue so feel free to discuss it here. please note that we do not yet have all the techs listed in this poll. Also, Many of the techs listed are known by some other civs.

Choose as many techs as you want in this poll.

This poll will be open for two weeks.

Make me the third person who says that any tech is available for sale at this point.

I thought about that option this morning. I'll see if i can get *abstain* changed to reflect this. :king:

We'll need good trade relations with the other civs. Sell or trade any of them, to build on that relationship. After all, they'll get the tech from someone else if we wait.

I am abstaining because I think the decision to sell is conditional, depending upon a number of factors, including:

1) game strategy at the time of the proposed sale
2) relative strength (military and cultural) of other civs
3) whether the tech is already known to other civs
4) our relations with the civ and its allies
5) how much or what we get in return
6) cost of lost opportunity to gain from a trade
7) state of the nation (emergency?) at the time

And a host of things I'm probably forgetting. I think a better discussion would be to outline a specific trade and its merits or lack of merit. This type of poll only serves to limit the flexibility of our reactions to changing game situations.

Sell 'em all if the price is right!
