Hi there.

I'm having a wierd problem when I make an FLC
It happens only with Attack animations.

See th example below :

This is the attack animation of the new Leclerc.
The SW (here), S, SE, N, NW anims are ok, but the E and NE doesn't appear good. The explosion is cropped and doesn't show well.
I can't figure why, because my PCX storyboard is perfect. But when I convert it to FLC with Flicters, the anim get cropped. I didn't realize, but I have exactly the same problem with the Merkava.

Does nayone know why ??

Thanks.

Do you use a 3D program to make your units? I assume you do. Unfortunately i cant explain your problem. But, i have seen some problems with units that have been made through 3D creation and a baassically corrected them myself in paint shop pro by filling in the gaps. I did this for Kinboats Jump carrier, there was an error on one of the directions (and cos i made my Kiev carrier over the jum carier) i bassically filled in the error so it doesnt appear in the game. So you could correct this problem in paint shop pro maybe when you have the work done in your 3D program.

Ah yes, this is an old problem that sometimes reappears.

It's because there is a very slight flaw in FLICster, where any object that gets too close or touches the right-hand frame edge leaves a 'ghost' image about two pixels wide in the following 3 or 4 frames.

There are two ways of curing this: either move the object (in this case the explosion) a couple of pixels to the left so that there is a gap of about 2 pixels between it and the right-hand frame edge, OR, use FLICster to increase the whole width of the FLIC a little bit which moves the frame edge away from the explosion.
Either way, you will still have to correct each offending frame of the east direction by hand I'm afraid.

Nice unit by the way! :goodjob:
