For those of you unfortunate souls who do not have it yet, I put together some shots.
Nothing exciting, mind you, just a little tease.

As you can see, the "King" can perform martial law duties, and seems to require no support (gold).

The city governor link is a nice touch.

Now go forth, and buy your own copy! :D
 
Looks really cool.

If you get around to it, could you please try to post some screens from the WWII and Japan scenarios later? I'm especially interested in the different units.
 
Hmm....seems strange that Ragnar is king of the Vikings, when the civ appears to be called Scandinavians. Perhaps a last minute name change?
 
I'd be jealous of you, but I'm getting PTW tomorrow. Can you post a list of the WWII units, because CFC isn't posting them...

Bah, i can get better screenies than that! How would you like to see an ambhibious invasion by beserks? or a battle between the Mongols and Spainish? I post soon to show you some REAL screenies (no offense meant in post).

Screenie looks good but for the moment too lazy to drag my butt out to buy it. :lol:

But seriously, is MP or PBEM workable? Judging fr all the complains, seems to have some issues yet, despite the patch.
 
"Turnless" MP seems to be an issue. For now. Give them a few weeks to hash it out, and it will probably be fine.

However, if you get off your lazy butt and buy it, we could have some good PBEM's. :goodjob:

Richard III also says he's interested in those.

Just like the old SG's, except we could each have our own civ!
 
OK, I'll go out now to see if they have it in stores in S'pore. But I don't really think so. I'm never interested in turnless anyway, only PBEM since my local time is way way different fr you guys.... ;)
 
KD, I think you will have to wait or get it mailed to you, since its only released here in the US for now.

I have no idea what the Asian release date is...:confused:

If you want it now, PM me and I'll send one over. :)
I have a friend in Europe that I mailed one to today, for his B-Day.
 
I don't know. I got Civ3 about the same time it was released in the US. S'pore's economy is pretty open - little in way of regulations to prevent release.... I may get lucky. :)

Anyway, I'm not all that desperate for it yet..... :heehee:
 
The screenshots look great! I really like that the dropdown box (post #3, second pic) says "Fortify All (3 units)". OK, I'm specifically talking about the "3 units" notation. That's great that it tells how many total units are in a stack. That's a much needed feature, especially for huge stacks of units.
