Please post the numbers of the tiles within the red border that you believe we should settle on. These will then be used in the next placement polls if "Area E" is chosen in either of the current Domestic Dept. placement zone polls.

Rough to choose, not knowing where neighboring cities are planned but as a raw territory I'd say: 69, Dude!

It catches every resource, coastal, access to fresh water. The Aztec city nearby will most likely be autorazed so there is no real consideration for border overlap. In any case, popular opinion is that a close build is okay.

One city does not need to catch all of the bonus tiles, as long as we use all of them with a city. I also like 69, 18 and 46.

Miami will need to be destroyed at some point...

I like 46.... It's on a hill which allows for good defense againsnt attacks. If we get some culture in their shortly after it's built (+ get some top of the line defense) it will be very hard to capture.

I believe for optimum placement in not only sealing off the land bridge, but in making best use of the land and resources would be the following.

1. First city in "E" should go on 45
2. Second city in "E" should go 1 tile East of 63
3. Third city in "E" should go on 68

'Course that's just my opinion.

Well, my only concern is that we must close up the bridge as soon as possible, so we can deny access across it for others.

But we must be aware that this might bring us another war of someone wanting to come cross it :-)

I believe these proposal are all to far southwest of where we need to be. With the 45, 1 tile East of 63, and 68 we will seal off the advance of those neighbors. Let's put a strong Military presence on the mountains to persuade them not to declare war.

If we place a city on #5 then #18 will be a waste of space. #45 will cover the distance to #5 and then 1 tile East of #63 will be spaced properly to seal this area after expansion. #68 will aid in this effort.

I am a fan of 69, 18, and 46
