Council Vote - Confirmation of naervod for Public Defendant

This Council Vote is for the confirmation of the President's appointee for the vacant Public Defendant position. This vote will remain open until a until a supermajority (4 YES or 4 NO) is evident or for 48 hours, whichever comes sooner.

All Department Leaders should reply in this thread with a vote of YES, NO or ABSTAIN.

There were two applicants to the position. Both showed high initiative in pursuit of the position as well as very promising traits for the job in particular and the Judiciary in general. As you can imagine, it was very difficult to choose between the two of them. naervod won this appointment by successfully defending a hypothetical case to me via PM.

He may only hold a single Leader position. Any number of Deputy positions are permissible, with or without a Leader position.
