Colors n Chrome Interface Modpack for Civ III

Hello Everyone, :)

I have a question about uploading or posting a 12 to 15 megabyte file. I've been working on redoing the Civ III interface, and am just about done with it. I believe that you can only upload at the maximum a 3 megabyte file to Civ Fanatics. However, I know that some people post larger files, or at least I believe they do. I've noticed some of the modpacks are larger than 3 megabytes. Do they upload their files to their own websites? I was thinking about getting some free web space and uploading there, but I know that there are probably no free sites that will allow you to upload a 15 megabyte zip file. Free sites usually keep the file size to under 1 megabyte. If anyone has any ideas how I can post my file for those who wish to download it, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Some keep it on a personal webpage... But, do email Thunderfall. If both of you have cable/DSL, then you could just sent it to Thunderfall if he oks it. :)
 
Yeah I'm curious too, I dont' think anyone has done anything with the interface yet have they?

Telgar, send me an email and we'll find ways to have your modpack published. :)

You could also split the mod into 4 or 5 3MB files and upload them to the file server directly.
 
Hello again everyone, :)

I'd like to thank everyone who replied and expressed an interest in my modpack, especially Thunderfall who offered to help me with uploading the files. A few people requested screenshots, so I have uploaded five screenshots for your viewing pleasure. Hopefully someone will find them at least remotely interesting. I got so tired of all the brown in the original Civ III screens, that I've made each screen a different color, except for the four Science Advisor screens, which are all a light blue. Once again, thanks to Thunderfall, your idea about splitting the file into 4 or 5, 3 megabyte files is a good one. Although if it's possible, I would like to keep the files together. However I will do whatever is necessary. Thunderfall , I will be sending you an email to see if you are still interested in publishing the modpack after you view the screenshots. Well enough said, here are the screenshots.

P.S. If your using AOL, you got to turn of them compressed graphics. I couldn't figure out why the screenshots looked so terrible until I remembered AOL by default compresses graphics. :D

I particularly like the foreign advisor and negotiating graphics
 
Good work, Telgar! :goodjob: I like the last three ones the best. I don't know if I'll use them, because I think that at least for now I like the original ones better, but nonetheless these look great.

Hi all, :)

Thanks to everyone who replied with such nice comments on the screenshots. I really do appreciate it! When I posted the screenshots, I wasn't quite finished with some of the advisor screens. I did a little more work on the cultural and military advisor screens, so I am posting updated screenshots of them. I should be finished with the modpack by friday. So I will be posting it either friday or saturday. I hope you guys will download it. Here are the updated screenshots. Once again, thanks for the kind comments.
