The Game of Republic is now officially starting! This is the sign up thread to join a particular team. If a team has atleast 6 players, they're good to go.

Sign ups are available for:

Team 1: 5 players

Octavian X - Prime Minister
cgannon64 - Vice PM
Toasty - FA
CivGeneral - Military Advisor
Stuck_as_a_Mac - Science Advisor
Gunning - Culture Advisor

Team 2: 1

joespaniel - Prime Minister

Team 3: 1 (Persia)

Spacetrvler - Emperor
Hygro - FA
Plexus - Military/Domestic

Team 4: Eklektikos (Rogue Nation)
Team 5: FionnMcCumhall (Rogue Nation) of Celtonia

Team 6:

Grey Fox - Prime Minister
WildFire - Science Advisor

Team 7: wtiberon
Team 8: AI Controlled

Remember, you can go alone as a rogue, but only after the majority of teams are filled. (It is the Game of Republic after all)

What spots are left on Team 1? I'd like to reserve a miscellanous spot, and I'll pick one when I find out what is availble.

EDIT: I'll be the VP of Team 1. I d/l'd the rules to see what positions are avaible, and props to whoever wrote those rules up. That UN is going to make things very interesting and realistic. Maybe, if a country gets really powerful, they can use the UN as a tool to go to war...;) :lol: j/k

I can't wait to be the VP; ambassador to the UN and stuff. :D This is going to be so fun!!!
 
I have a question: after my term is up, do I have to run for reelection for VP? And is there a limit on consecuitive terms? If yes, I'll already run for reelection now. Vote for me! I haven't done anything yet, but there is a high probability that I will soon! ;) :lol:

Oh, and I'm confused about one other thing. As an ambassador to the UN (I'm getting used to that ;) :D), I would think that I post in the UN thread, but Chieftess already made posts for editing. Do we have a "UN Debating" thread?

The UN is still something that's "in the works". But, congrats to the first ambassador! :D

So far the UN looks good. Powerful, but not too powerful. I'd start a team thread, but we don't have a name yet. Anyway, so far this game looks cool. If it gets too big, I'd request our own subforum. Chieftess, you could do that, right? ;)

Yes, I could request a subforum. That's how this subforum got started. :) Just too many PBEM threads.
 
As long as this game doesn't start before PtW is released over here in the UK I'd be interested in signing up as an unaffiliated "rogue" nation. :evil:

Sounds good to me. I don't have the time to run a full cabinet, but a diabolic duo should work well - and I could do with someone with a bit of PtW experience to slap me upside the head now and then. :crazyeye:

hey for my team i want to only have a un rep(vice) , a mil advisor, and domestic/commerce/culture/science advisor and a foriegn advisor :egypt:

Btw, since its a Republic game, shouldnt we have Prime Ministers instead of Presidents? :hmm:
