***Donovan Zoi hits the campaign trail in his home city of Tlaxcala***

Thank you, Cyc, for your vote of confidence. Hopefully everybody has read the debates and made an informed decision. I too find Falcon02 to be a worthy candidate, but am troubled that the Military thread has been ignored since the last turnchat where:

1. We have 4 French swordsmen just outside Padmativa, plus a host of others. We need to open a discussion about the possible ways this could play out.

2. We have left 5 workers unprotected on our front lines in Japan.

3. We need to discuss our next move. Hopefully everyone knows that we can't just march up to Kyoto and take a size 8 city(+50% defense) that sits across a river(+another 50% defense); that we will have to find a way around the river or invest in some serious casualties.

We need to defend Fanatika from all sides. Would Cleveland exist within our borders if we felt enough confidence in our eastern defense to kick the Americans out ahead of time? What will we do with the French in the case they demand all we have --- give in or fight? Ally to domino the Americans?

I am not saying I will have all the answers but I will make sure the questions get asked.

***VOTE DONOVAN ZOI***

Well, that was deprssingly predictable. Not that there's anything wrong with Falc, quite the opposite. It's just, how many terms in the last two demogames was Falc NOT leader. I could count them, and I can't count so high.

It's understandable though AJ. As an entrenched member of the DemoGame elite, Falcon02's name recognition is through the roof. Sitting over here with 85 posts and counting, I knew my bid would be an uphill battle. Not to worry, though. As deputy, I have keys to the office and stand to make many contributions to the Military thread, as I plan to bring to light anything that doesn't deal solely with our offensive(see post #4 in this thread).

To those who voted for me, my gratitude. I am conceding this election to the incumbent and look forward to bringing my ideas to the Military forum, as well as to my governorship of the Southwest Province.

Quoting Falc:
THANKS Cyc!!

Hey Falc. I have always supported you. You know that. But I feel you left the Military Dept. twisting in the wind just before the Japan Conflict. Just when we really needed you. And now you have told us before hand that you may bail on us this month. I believe Donovan Zoi is an excellent choice to replace you, and that time has come.

Addressing the concerns voiced here...

I must admit that right now I'm a little too busy with Thanksgiving assignments, one 2-3 page essay due by E-mail on Sunday at 9am :-(, so I haven't really been able to address as much attention as I need to on the Demogame. I'm sorry, and it's not any better at the moment, with about 3/4 of a page from working on it for the past 2-3 days I need to devote more time on this essay.

For the rest of this term, again I must admit I lacked the interest and passion I normally had for the Demogame, a combo of college work and Shaitan's netorious t/c schedule. The t/c's are a great source of interest for me and helps to give the DG seem more linear.

I too got that sence from myself that I wasn't putting 100% into it and I was feeling kinda guilty about it, but the t/c I was able to attend regrabbed my excitement.

Also, one of my faults is that I'm used to the old 9+ page Military Dept. thread where 90% of the General military discussion occured there. With the new set up there seems to be little purpose for the Govt. threads except to be spammed when there's an important poll or council vote. So now ALL the discussion is supposed to occur in the Citizen forums, instead of just the specialized discussions.

So, I can understand your concern, but I'm confident that my future preformance will be much better. And with more t/c's I can attend I feel the only thing that will get in my way will be my rather unpredictable school work, which will be garenteed to end the week of Christmas, since Finals are the week before.

Go Donovan Zoi!
