Cry Havoc! Assasins in our midst!

Returning home from a council meeting of Lancre at Kultis Castle, Prince disorganizer of Lancre was struck in the back by a crossbow bolt. The Prince was in the company of his fellows Sir Grandmaster and Sir Shabbaman and a small guard. Despite immediate reaction from the guardsmen the assassin was not apprehended.

Fortunately, Prince disorganizer's life was saved by one of his guardsmen who had received medical training from a missionary of Spiritualism. With the guardsman's help, Sir Grandmaster and Sir Shabbaman were able to bring the stricken Prince to Tsort Castle where he was stabilized by Lancre physicians.

Prince disorganizer is now recovering from his injuries in the security of Tsort Castle. The royal physicians report that he is out of immediate danger and regaining strength daily. Further investigaion of the scene of the attack has revealed no clue of the identity of the assassin. The bolt itself was of common stock but fletched with wire, typical of Egyptian weaponry. A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and execution of the attacker.

Hearing the news, Cyc loads up a healthy portion of his inventory in the cart and heads for Tsort Castle. Some beef and ale will help keep the people at the Castle happy and healthy while Dis recuperates. When he arrives, he instructs the kitchen to prepare food for the people who have not eaten, then goes to check on Dis.

The prince of Lancre wishes to thank all populace of fantika for the good wishes and the support they show here.

We are sorry to announce that he does not with to receive visitors at the moment, as you surely will understand there are some security concerns and also we have to think about some things in very private.

We are indeed getting better now hourly, as the fanatikan doctors did a perfect job on healing us.

'Twas an awful sight I beheld, men..... Lord Dis struck down out of nowhere. I couldn't see even see where the bolt came from. I have examined the projectile and found something rather queer about it. 'Tisn't of Fanatikan origin, it's far more advanced than anything m'self or the other smiths of Fanatika can produce. A strange tri-blade it had, so that it would piece through armor and inflict a secondary wound when it was pulled out. I have checked with my contacts in other lands, and they have pointed me towards a possible culprit. My intelligence leads to a multi-nation terror organization, Al-Azteca, with cells in Azteca, America, Egypt, Fanatika, and Japan. My guess is that it was a disgruntled Japanese agent. Perhaps we should have a talk with our friend T/W, maybe he knows something about this terror front?

Regardless, I, Grandmaster, advisor to Lancre and friend of Disorganizer, pledge all I have to aiding the bringing of this fiend to justice.

'Twas a Spiritualist-trained guard who first stabilized him; had it not been for the faith's healing power, our noble lord would most likely not be here now. Perhaps you can ask the Spirits for some aid in identifying the villain who attempted this murder?

A disturbing thought occurs. My friends, Brother Adam and Sister Eve, have not yet contacted me since setting off on their tour of Fanatika. They were last seen leaving the Tavern, but that was days ago. If anyone comes into contact with them, please could you let me know. They refused any kind of armed escort, and they do not carry any weapons.
