Hi folks!

Now it is time for my latest project, and this time I should say our first project. The ANZAC and I joined up to make a scenario about the Colombian Civil War, and it's almost time for release. I can't promise it'll be withing this year, but it won't be long!

Three playable civs: Government, FARC (Communist rebels), and Autodefensas (paramilitaries).
Four other playable civs: ELN (Communists), M-19 (leftists), the OAS (representing the outside world), and the Drug Cartels.
 
:( I haven't had time to work on it since Christmas, and I propably won't have time till after New Year. Sorry, but I'll do it quickly when I get the chance...

Looks god. I hope I'll play it soon and destroy all "guerrilleros", "paras" y "narcotraficantes" (drug-traders) in order to restore the government power in Colombia!
 
This is a list of what I haven't done/finished yet:

- The Tiles.dll (just ran into problems - I'll have to reinstall FW now... But it's almost done).

- The "Civ-specification" of Rules.txt, Events.txt, and the scenario itself

- The Readme file

- The wonder descriptions in the Pedia.txt

- And the sounds.

Though it seems like much, the hardest part is over, so it won't take long.
But the scenario will of course also need some sort of playtesting first (I'll ask if I need playtesters at a later point).

The project looks great. Can't wait to take a stab with "El Eme"
but,
Err. Sorry to open Pandora's Bocx, but the EPL at one point was much larger than the ELN. (Communists? In whose book?)
 
Great work so far insurgent, it will be quite interesting to see how things end up.

In the meantime I'll follow the lead and dig into the Pandora's Box a bit, for fun. I know this isn't the off-topic/history forum, so it won't be long. ;)

About the maoist EPL, by the 80's it would be an understament to call it "fragmented", in more ways than one.

The ELN would be communist, though following the Cuban line, which may make it vaguely socialist in the eyes of some.

@Audax: In a thread in the forum a little further down called "Playtesters needed". But I haven't received the results from two of them yet... :(

I really don't know how long time till it will be ready. I thought the playtesters could be finished in a couple of days, but it's been weeks now. I also don't have as much time for it as I had hoped, I think I'll try to finish it before February, but at least it will be done by the end of the Winter vacations in Denmark (17th-23rd of February)... :(
 
Looks very nice Insurgent. :) I am also counting on the winter vacations in Denmark to finish my own scenario. :D
 
My problem is that I haven't heard from one of the playtesters yet, I'll probably have to do it myself... But I'll finish it...
