Foreign Affairs

Please renegotiate the agreements (alliance against Persian and the RoP) with the Chinese. We should at least be able to reduce the amount of gpt we pay, and possibly even get them to pay something.

Leave all other alliances in place.

Please try to make this a short turn chat, as there are several issues that have not been fully discussed and polled, including our next target for aggression.

South Doughnut Coast

Padmativa: After the temple is complete, start a courthouse instead of a pike. Also, when the city expands, place the new citizen on the gold hill.

Leningrado: Keep the temple under construction. When it expands, place the new citizen on the ivory tile.

From the FA deputy, BCLG did mention he liked the Babylonian trade in this thread: Trading Techs

He didn't stick around in the chat long enough for further info.
(Ekle - you did say no turn chats the day after Christmas - but it's still the 26th for us Americans. :p).

Micromanage

Bavaria & Morgana - Remove Bavaria's forest tiles (the ones South and Southeast of the game) to let Morgana use them (those were also FortyJ's orders last turn chat - should have been done on turn 6. Please do so immediately). Four of the coastal tiles should be on the 4 forest tiles for the time being.

Put Morgana's worked tiles as follows:

And Bavaria like this:
(FortyJ and I talked it over in the chatroom)

bavaria_670AD.jpg

Penguin - Move all worked tiles (except for the game) to the coast. (again, should have been done turn 4 of the last turn chat)

Clevland - Mine one of the plains next to Clevland. On turn 9, make sure it is using that mined tile.

Tarkingrad - On turn 5, place the worked tile on the grassland to speed up Tarkingrad's growth.

Palanthus - On turn one (as not to affect any possible trade deals, and it's not nessecary for the pike), remove 4 worked tiles on the coast (not the fish). This will create a WLTKD in the great city.

Eklektikos - Make sure you do the micromanagement. ;)

Budget Items (in order of priority)

  • All upgrades from Spearmen to Pikemen are approved as long as funds are available.
  • Upgrades from Horsemen to Knights are approved as long as funds are available.
  • Maintain a minimum balance of 232gp as an emergency fund in the event we need to rush a defensive unit somewhere.
