Micromanage

Bavaria & Morgana - Remove Bavaria's forest tiles (the ones South and Southeast of the game) to let Morgana use them (those were also FortyJ's orders last turn chat - should have been done on turn 6. Please do so immediately). Four of the coastal tiles should be on the 4 forest tiles for the time being.

Put Morgana's worked tiles as follows:

Penguin - Move all worked tiles (except for the game) to the coast. (again, should have been done turn 4 of the last turn chat)

Clevland - Mine one of the plains next to Clevland. On turn 9, make sure it is using that mined tile.

Tarkingrad - On turn 5, place the worked tile on the grassland to speed up Tarkingrad's growth.

Palanthus - On turn one (as not to affect any possible trade deals, and it's not nessecary for the pike), remove 4 worked tiles on the coast (not the fish). This will create a WLTKD in the great city.

Eklektikos - Make sure you do the micromanagement. ;)

Now Regarding Science, I have gone through the cities and I have found a few which placing a scientist in will hurt neither production nor growth. These cities are:
Penguin
Dacula
Goonidum

These three cities would help our science output! I urge Science to look into more cities that could help.

Congratulations on winning the Taliesin governorship Stuck! The science department really needs a scientist in at least one of the cities, so maybe it could be in yours? Congrats on wining.
 
The Science Department request that some Citizens be hired to become Scientist. The Sicence Department also request that a Library and/or a University be placed in the build queue :).

In other news, I am pleased to announce the begining of our Official "Name Cleveland Contest". Here is the contest to name our American defector. A few rules:
-No naming after yourself, or any other DGer
-No naming it after another City
-Try to have it to have something to do with America and Celtic tradition (name of the province)
That said, Good Luck

The Burrow- Please move worker in forest onto irrigated tile. This allows growth to continue and does not harm production.
Striders Haven- Keep workers as is.
Tarkingrad- Keep workers as is.
Cleveland-(name me!) Keep workers as is.
Dacula- Convert southern most worker into scientist. This will increase time by 2, but make science 38. (making court7, temple30 and uni50)
New PDX- Keep as is
Palanthus- Keep as is
Goonidum- Keep as is
Penguin- Take southernmost laborer and convert to scientist.

Thus is micromanaging.

Ok, for the city name, I propose:

1st choice - The Highlands: One of the things that modern Scotland is famous for. (Scots and Irish are descendants from the Celts)
2nd choice - Epona: Celtic Mythology, symbolizing horses. Great for our knights and cavalry. :)
3rd choice - Morrigan: Celtic Mythology, symbolizing war. Perfect for our warmongering nature this game. :)

morgana is the derrivitive of the morrigan. I got plenty of names if you want some :) just been busy with the build queus of the game
 
An Informational Poll has been started HERE. This poll deals with "PLAN A" concerning Military production. Please vote. This poll will remain open for approximately 24 hours. Governors are encouraged to voice their opinions.

I did not see a poll to change a city name to The Highlands. Please post instructions to change the name back until proper approval is recieved.

A newly elected governor may request name changes for cities within his/her province. This can only be done in the first week of the governor's term of office. The governor will post a poll with the suggested name change in an APPROVED / DISAPPROVED / ABSTAIN format and a 2 day or longer time frame. Popular support will allow or deny the proposed name change.
 
I'm glad someone else noticed that besides me.
