Here are all the possible trades I have put out on the table. This is open for discussion.

England

Prining Press, WM, 20g, TM for Gunpowder (Banking and Astro are also options...)

France
(164g, 11gpt) or 20gpt for our gems!

or...

Economics for gems, wm, 321g

or...

Economics for Gems, wm, 17gpt, 15 gold (This amounts to 355g total)

Russia

Russia's trades are more expensive than France. We'll go shopping elsewhere, except maybe...

Economics for Gems, Incense, World Map, 383g.

Babylon

Babylon's trades for chemistry and economics are more expensive than France, but...

Prining Press, TM, 116g for gems

or...

Printing Press, 121g for gems (TM is apparently worth 5g. bah!)

or...

Printing Press, 6gpt, 13g for gems

or...

9gpt, 307g, TM for gems

Zulus

2 workers for gems

or...

Printing Press for Gems, WM, 309g (note: their gpt deal isn't worth it - more than 309g)

Rome - They lost their harbor (again), so we can not trade with them.

Greeks

Greece's trades for chemistry and economics are more expensive than France

America

50g, TM, WM for gems

or...

Printing Press for Gems, WM, and 156g

Iroquois

Economics for Gems, WM, 185g

or...

Printing Press, wm, tm for Gems

China

Fur Trade can be renegotiated this turn. See what the highest bid is along with gems.

EDIT: We can do this one first, to see if we can save any gems for possible techs...

Turn 3

Babylon - I believe our incense and 22gpt deal runs out this turn (from a tech?). Renegotiate, or see who else will buy incense.

Zulus - Fur deal ends in 3 turns (it might be part of the allience deal)

Turn 5

Greece - Our Incense deal expires. 14gpt is a good source of income for now.

I like these:

We will be one step to democracy and well be abble to build Smith's Trading Co.

BTW, here's the cost of chemistry if we were to research it on our own:

Current Income: 102gpt

30% - 21 turns, +25gpt (77gpt to learn chemistry 1617g)
40% - 15 turns, +1gpt (101gpt to learn chemistry 1515g)
50% - 11 turns, -39gpt (141gpt to learn chemistry 1551g)

6 turns at 100% (-151g, 253gpt to learn chemistry 1518g)

We may mot want to renew the trade with Russia. We may also not want to spent money on techs that Catherine has. She may soon be willing to give them to us for nothing. ;)

There's more to come shai. ;)

We have 3 gems (2 for trading), with 3 more on the way in 8-9 turns.

EDIT: Here's the full data:

(Current Treasury: 1314g)

Chemistry

Current Income: 102gpt

30% - 21 turns, +25gpt (77gpt to learn chemistry 1617g) (1540 in 20 turns
40% - 15 turns, +1gpt (101gpt to learn chemistry 1515g)
50% - 11 turns, -39gpt (141gpt to learn chemistry 1551g)

6 turns at 100% (-151g, 253gpt to learn chemistry 1518g)

Printing Press

Current Income: 102gpt

10% - 30 turns, +78gpt (24gpt to learn Print. Press - 720g) (480 in 20 turns)
20% - 14 turns, +54gpt (48gpt to learn Print. Press - 672g)
30% - 9 turns, +25gpt (77gpt to learn Print. Press - 693g)
40% - 6 turns, +1gpt (101gpt to learn Print. Press - 606g)
50% - 5 turns, -39gpt (141gpt to learn Print. Press - 705g)
70% - 4 turns, -79gpt (181gpt to learn Print. Press - 724g)

Economics

Current Income: 102gpt

20% - 25 turns, +54gpt (48gpt to learn Economics - 1200) (960 in 20 turns)
30% - 16 turns, +25gpt (77gpt to learn Economics - 1232)
40% - 12 turns, +1gpt (101gpt to learn Economics - 1212)

1540 for Chemistry
480 for Printing Press
960 for Economics
--------------
2,980g for all techs at a flat 10% rate. :D

Note: Prices also depend on how many civs have the current tech. Putting gems (and other luxs on the trading block) will lower the price - even world maps!

As Printing Press is not a priority, I like the 20gpt for Gems deal with France.

If Printing Press is wanted, then I like the Iro's PP, WM, for gems and the Bab's PP, 6gpt, 13g for Gems. Either one. I don't care much for the other deals.

Since Gunpowder is well know (and England doesn't have it), it could be a "free tech". I don't think we'll be invading England anytime soon...

I beleve that we should start consentraitiong on getting more gold earther Payed in full or in a gpt increments to help our science rate :).

We need to end that incense deal with Russia if we mean to declare war on them. I suggest we find someone else to buy the incense.

Those two workers should cost about 60 gold. No need to give him gems for them.
