Suggestion for changing level of PBEM games

All of the PBEM games (it seems this way) started with the current 1.14 patch seem to default to chieftan. I know this isnt new but would it work if the starter of the game uninstalled 1.14 using the first patch and then start the game. After he sends the game, he could reinstall the 1.14 patch.

Any thoughts?

That'd be the way I'll go about it. Or maybe get someone who can install it permanently pre-1.14f ver on a 2nd computer to start the game.

Any word fr Firaxis on this?

No word from Firaxis but i will perfrom this test tonite by uninstalling 1.14 and seeing what happens when i make a three player PBEM. I am going to play teh first turns so that i wont have to wait to see if it works.
