This poll will remain open until the end of the month (GMT).

I'm scared... Does that say:

Code:
Civanator 0 0%

FortyJ 1 20.00%

gunning1 0 0%

Strider 4 80.00%

Abstain 0 0%

Or am I seeing things?

No, you have 6 (of 7) votes now.

Whoa... Amazing... I was expecting FortyJ/Gunning to beat me out... Seriously...

I'm surprised... 0-1-0-7-0 right now.

Can someone say Strider Go Strider :D

@Strider - When I stop by in Strider's Haven, hop into the Bar Car and Campaing along with me :).

:crazyeye:  :crazyeye:

The results so far show that Fanatika loves uncertainty. I am tempted to vote for Strider here just to see if he can pull off the resignation hat trick the minute one of his proposals meets even the slightest resistance.

Um, kidding. With FortyJ, you get his dedication for the entire term. Also, doesn't anyone remember:

1. The Cartographic Office?
2. FA Civ Spotlight discussions(as FA deputy)
3. Domestic settler maps?
4. The benchmark Term 5 Presidency?

I can't wait to see what his plans are for the Science Department. As it stands right now, it looks like I'll have to wait until about April 15th.

Strider for experience in the Department. While I feel FortyJ is a hard worker and a great planner, he has no experience in the Science Department while Strider has by far the most.

I have to vote for 40J here. Everything everyone says about his work is true. Maybe we'll get a bonafide research system going finally.

Wow, 40J is catching up! Poor Civanator and gunning are being left in the dust.

Vote FortyJ! He has Presidential experience (always useful) and has NEVER quit halfway through a term!

Just to clear this damn thing up.

I only resigned because I had time restraints and felt like I could not get anything done in the Science Department at that time. I thought that resigning and giving it up to a more able person would be to the benefit of Fanatika and the Science Department. Other leaders other than me have resigned, but you seem to not hold that against them do you?

It is quite sad that a former President and very dedicated Fanatikan is losing this election to a person who has quit office twice. I am sorry, but this makes me very angry. I wanted 40J to be president. In my mind he would have won that election no contest, but alas he choose Science, and I never expected any him to have any difficulty winning this one.

For the record I do hold it against leaders that resign. Since Strider has done it twice I can't support him for a leadership position.

In any case, FortyJ has shown amazing dedication and industry in every office he has held. In fact, he's shown that outside of any office with the several critical "not for profit" positions that he maintains. He has my vote and my full support.

And now it's a tie! Another close race! But, gunning has no votes! And Civanators prior bans seem to still be known... 2 canidates with a rep hit.

Do you mean 2 canidates with a rep hit as in Civanator and I or Gunning and Civanator?

I don't think Gunning has a rep hit... It's me. :)

I did not resign twice. I thought about it once... and actually went as far as post it, but in the end I decided not to resign.

Also... If you have something against a leader resigning because of an unsuspected RL crisis then good luck getting new leaders.

eh em... I wonder if Strider and Shaitan like thread jacking election threads. Especially science election threads. ;)

No... I think it's just polls overall, but elections are a speciality of are's :)

BTW... was that a warning?
