Today Eklektikos and me started a PBEM.

With the following set-up:

- emperor
- standard size map
- continents
- random civs
- 6 AI opponents
- no barbarians
- starting positions: no neighbours...
- 'domination' switched off

I ended up being the Chinese. Eklektikos is the Ottomans.

We started this one more than a month ago and frankly I don't believe that this will be finished....

This game is cancelled. I'd would have liked a bit of progress. 8 turns in a month isn't.

Apologies. The free time that I thought I'd regained permanently vanished on me again over the past few weeks. As of this week I do have some of it back again and would be able to pick this game back up. However I fully understand that you may well find the slow progress and erratic unreliability of my freedom to play turns so far to be more frustration than the game's worth.

Eklektikos, we only played 8 turns. So indeed, I don't think it's worth it to pick it up again. Thanks for the explanation.
