Proposed Trade

We give - Ceremonial Burial(2), 20 Gold

They give - The Wheel(4)

Numbers in brackets equals the Tech value in the editor.

I support this trade. I feel it is fair, and that we need trades to move up the ladder.

Good job on the trade Goonie. I throw my support behind this as well. The twenty gold is minimal for the desirable Wheel tech.

Not to mention the good relations we will be building with a potential long-term ally.

Public Defender candidate throughs support for this trade.

I also support it.

Defnitely a good deal. I really like the trading attitude of Apolyton rather than GCA.

Nice to see you around here again naervod.... It's been too long.

And you are correct, Apolyton seems to be negotiating from a much more fair and balanced approach. I think the negotiating practices of each of our neighbors will ultimately reveal who our real friends are.

And what do our negotiating practices say of us?

Just cause we're the smallest (by the game's stanards) civ, we're next going to be pushed around.

And what do our negotiating practices say of us?

Were you actually looking for an answer, or are you critizing. Because if it is critics you have, I would love to hear them to improve our trading style.

Answering. Sorry that was EXTREMELY vague. :(

Me or Noldodan?

My answer was extremely vague.

Looks like short answers are burning me. :P

I would hope that our neighbors will recognize that we will not succumb to extortion or agree to deals that are not fair and balanced.

Apolyton has already witnessed our fairness when we admitted to them that we acquired Ceremonial Burial through different means (as opposed to purchasing it from GCA) and then went forward with another deal that benefited both nations.

GCA has repeatedly proposed deals that are decidedly slanted in their favor. If we were to blindly accept their terms, we would be showing signs of weakness and I don't think any of us wish for us to be saddled with that label.

In short, I believe that our negotiations have shown us to be agressive, but fair and certainly not to be treated as fools.

Aye, aye!

My only criticizm is that we should at least pretend to consider their deals, instead of rejecting them straight off. Just make a good show of it.
