The upcoming regional deligate election for Civfanatica

The NRI republic proposes that all contenders for the position post their "platforms", so to speak on what kind of leadership(as no one can deny the fact that the regional deligate has the most support, and mass consent from the nations in that region, and thus can assume a leadership role in that region) they will offer to the nations of Civfanatica

Aphex Twin officially submits it's bid for the UN delegacy. On the occation, our leader has given an introductory speech.

What is the very purpose of the current Constitution, future amendaments or resolutions is to ensure Civfanatica will be an active part of the World, and indeed, the UN. This endeavour is not without risks, as it might attract the envy of foreign powers, but Civfanatica is prepared to face all adversities. We are today 800 million strong and growing. However, for a large scale region to survive, we need an inspired leadership. Aphex Twin can be the answer. We pledge to maintain democracy and to ensure each and every nation gets a voice in matters of administration and foreign policy. Also, every decision made will be completely transparent and subjected to enquiry by all member nations.

The Lord President of the Federal Empire believes that actions speak louder than words when proving the worth of a nation. Hence he has outlined below what the Federal Empire has achieved during its short existance:

Dear Friends,

It was the Federal Empire who was undertook the difficult task of drafting the constitution, and then played a key role, along with Majipooria, in persuading nations to vote. The Federal Empire was able to dedicate sufficient time, despite other commitments, to constantly monitor the situation and provide feedback on the quorum to nations such as Aphex and Gothiscandza who requested it.

The Federal Empire has also been responsible for two other projects which have sought to enhance Civfanatica. It was our state map-makers who produced the maps of Civfanatica and requested nations to choose a position for themselves. The new Civfanatica web-site with important information about the region was also the work of the Federal Empire.

The Federal Empire has shown its commitment to democracy as much as any other nation. We designed the constitution so that power would never again rest solely in the hands of two nations, and worked against states who might take a more unilateral approach. We resisted pressure to influence the result of the poll on the constitution from some whose democratic credentials are more suspect.

The Federal Empire has achieved more for Civfanatica than any other nation who does not have regional control. If the Federal Empire was to become UN delegate we would be able to tackle areas which are currently not possible for us to deal with, including:

1) Following the spirit of the constitution at all times to ensure that every nation has a voice,
2) Actively promoting good relations with our cousins, the CFC Region,
3) Constantly monitoring Civfanatica for signs that players have secretly registered as many as four UN nations,
4) Providing feedback to Civfanatica of the important developments at the UN,
5) Ensuring that referenda and polls are constantly promoted at CFC,
6) Acting in a fair and unbiased way at all times.

The Lord President therefore asks for the support of all peace-loving, democratic nations in Civfanatica.

Cilpot will of course note that the quote referred to was in the section listing what we would do "if we become delegate", not as part of what has already been done.

However, to a some extent The Federal Empire has already attempted to make contact with CFC, a letter I sent to them was posted at their HQ and I posted the reply at Civfanatica. The Federal Empire firmly believes that contact and diplomacy with other regions is a much better choice than a show of strength.
