The MEM is the Medieval European Mod.

Ok im looking for people who have some time to help me. I need people who can dedicate just a small amount of time to help. Im also going to update and keep everyone informed on the mod in this post.

This is what I need:
  • Civiliopedia text (units, techs etc..)
  • Building Graphics(list)
  • Unit Graphics(Palladin, Camel Rider´s and so on....)
  • Historical Information(I would like to add more wonders and improvements, so please speek if you have any ideas. My current wonder list
    Im also open to bigger citylists:))
  • Various Graphics(Techs list, leaderheads etc.)

So if you have anything to contribute, please post here:)

I would like to contribute, but a) I lack the expertise to help with most of those things b) I begin my summer job next week and run quickly out of time.

Just about the only thing I might have the skills to do, is building graphics, so if you post a list of requests, I could decide if there's something I could try my hand on. Good luck on the project (trying MEM has been on my long to-do list for quite some time... maybe during one of those rainy summer days. :))

Sorry but i doubt it. The monastery is a nice building, but its not really very medeival. I had more something like a stone alter in mind for the Cult Site:)

No prob. I'll try to come up with something for some of the requests, I'll mention it in this thread if I begin to work on one of them.

What tech icons do you need, Yoda? I'll see if I can help.:)
 
Oh sorry, im not sure which tech Icons I need yet, so give me some time to look around and see what there already is:).
 
If you want, I could convert some buildings from Rise Of Nations, or Age of Kings again. They have some pretty good options there anyway:).

That would be cool PCH. Maybe you could post a screenshot of the different buildings, then I could choose the ones I need?

This is a rough picture of the buildings, cramped up and in low quality. Just to give you an idea. This is actually the 'Gunpowder Age' as the medieval age looks much more dark\age-ish. Some buildings are unrecognizable though, and might be able to be used for different things, like earlier buildings.
 
In my latest post in the Magnamund thread in the map forum I have a preview of about 20 tech icons. Just tell me if you want to use some of those.
 
PCH-sorry I dont really think I can use any of them. What about AoK?

mrtn-they are not really what im looking for. Im going to post a list soon:)
 
I could try to come up with civilopedia entries for your Muslim civs. Preferrably Caliphate of Cordova. What are their unique units/traits/leader etc. etc.

Leader: Caliph Abd-al-Rahman III
Traits: Scientific, Religious
UU´s(all civs have two): Morish Horseman and Camel Rider

What is the plural/singular you're using for the Caliphate of Cordova?

Something like this? :

Thats pretty good, but you should call them the Calipate of Cordova, and there should be some historical information too(dont be afraid its not that hard;))

Oh, and they dont start with Ceremonial Burial , they start with Steel and Alphabet:)

Don't worry. I was going to do the historical information, in fact that's what I'm working on right now. I was merely wondering about that part of it.

Thanks I'm going to fix that right now. Excpect the complete civilopedia entry to be done in 15-30 minutes.
