I took credit for an article I didnt write- it was wrong, and the article is currentlly under reviuson based on knowledge by the origional author, and my own knowledge to make a truelly unique work.

The evolution from the early republican legion to the Marian legion, and its subsequent refinements, is an interesting subject.

That, and the Ceasarian era legions is coverd in the birth of the Roman war machine :)

Xen, great articles, thanx! Nothing new for me (school, 7 years of Latin), but it is great to find it all in one place in concise writing!

I will (if I find time) check out some things I read and saw (live and video) on fighting technique and so on - would you interested to add that?

You write up your own articles, pal. ;) We can have a few articles on the same subject; no problem with that.

wow, that looks like a lotto info. :) too much for me to read at one time, thanks Xen, i'm sure i'll get around to reading it sometime.

Xen, next time give credit to the article where it is due. This article was written by Adrian Garbett and it seems to be exactly the same as your article. My biggest pet peeve is taking credit for work that is not yours.

Adrian Garbett writes some excellent articles though. ;)

Xen, that is plagerism, and it's not cool.
