Yes, let's make the switch to Monarchy. It will allow us to better use our land right away, and will also allow us to enter the Middle Ages with no turning back to research Republic.

If Monarchy wins, I propose that we start a revolution right away while we have some "down time." There would be no reason to let this decision fester. Let's better ourselves right now.

I'm with the President. Let's switch to a Monarchy right away and remain parallel with the AI until we get Education and eliminate the effectiveness of the Great Library in Athens Greece. Waiting for a Republic will just put us behind.

i would say MONARCHY, then beeline for democracy and give the people real freedom. no republic.

why?
easy... we have many open spaces in areas we need... so other civs maybe will settle there... and as such we may need another war soon to claim our lands........
i think we sucessfully managed to turn this game which was started with a peaceful plan into a game where we will be forced to warmonger out way to the top... and as such we will need monarchy...

would also be good, but we would need too much time to get there....
and we cant afford 3 phases of anarchy imho (1 for monarchy, 1 for communism and 1 for democracy).
