I opened a thread a little while ago stateing the idea, take a look and sign up for it here. You got the chance to try a new experience.

When at least 5 other people sign up we will spit into two teams. Each team will be able to pick thier civ but the other settings will be;

Standard Map
Level Monarch or Emperor (no lower) if most want Diety, I shall go along.
Pangea
60% water
All other world settings are random
Sedentary Barbs
All Victory Conditions Apply

I'd like to join.

I would prefer to play diety, but emperor would be fine also.
 
I'm in. I'm more of an emporer player. Never won a diety game(but that should change in the next day or so......... I hope). But I'm indifferent, as long as there's some diety players in both groups I'll play diety too.
 
I'm in if you accept me !!! :) I've never played by e-mail nor multi so far ; so I'd like to have a PBEM vet in my team if possible, just to have someone to talk in case I go into trouble...
I also want to play a Deity game. I've just got my 2nd Deity victory (GOTM 20). :)
Where will we be allowed to talk among the teams ? Can we choose our civ ? Mmmh, I'd like to play as China, I think I've never played an entire game with them, what do the others think ? I'd also like to be the 1st in the roster, but the others might want it too, especially you, amirsan. ;) How many turns will we play ?

OK, your in. And we have already have four votes for Diety. Krys, the team will vote for thier civ themselves, gotta make it as fair as possible ;). About the turns, lets do 10 turns per player and very strict 24/48. About talking to the team, you talk in your thread. Each team has thier own thread and play as a regular SG. About first in roster, we will decide when the teams are split up.
 
What time zones are you guys in?? Just so we can start to get an idea of how we're gonna break it down.

Eastern (US) zone here.
 
Well, for time zones, this is quite obvious if locations are well displayed, as it is the case for all 4 of us so far. I'm from Paris (GMT+1), amirsan is from New-York (GMT-5), Gengis Khan from North Carolina (GMT-5) and Earp from Texas (GMT-6). Am I wrong here ?

Ok, 2 more players are needed. Come on and join this great concept by amirsan ! :)

and btw, i'd prefer emporor to diety, but i can play diety.

edit: I'm in the same time zone as Ghengis.
 
I have a few things to comment on.

1. in the info thread's title, its called a PBEM/Demogame/SG all in one, but I havn't heard anything of the Demogame part. I assume we'll have elections for who goes next, like in bootstoot's old demogame SG. Is that right?

2.Try putting this in the SG registry, might help a little.

3.How will we be sure team members don't look at the other team's thread?
