I propose here that we stop the TC's and all other functions of the demogame for a time, to get ourselves reorganized. This is discussion, in time a poll shall come up. We've a constitution that is poor, and have varoius things to attend to. Thanks.

As Foriegn Minister, I completely agree.

edit: I know I won't be re-elected, but I won't allow someone to play the turn chat with illegal activity.

I agree.... we need to make the change's, Get this PI settled... and get everything organized. Then the remaining council members can continue the game.

I also Agree to organise the Consitution

conserve the last save file frm before the whole event for safetys sake ;)

Please, think with rationality. I know donsig - he WILL plough through with this turn chat. What will happen when few instructions turn up on his doorstep? The game will go on, with the assumption that leaders are ignoring their duties.

Please, for the sake of returning to some sense of normalcy, I ask differences be laid aside. Let us continue with the business of running the nation.

I have a better idea to deal with donsig. We won't allow him to make any decisions, bercause without the people or half the government, he can't.

As it seems this discussion has ended. Will someone post a poll over it?

This discussion has been up for a little over 14 hours. Could people please stop trying to rush every damn thing?

Question - where would you get the authority to suspend turn chats? From my reading, turn chats are at the direction of the President.

G. Elected officials must plan and act according to the will of the people.

Interesting, but I'm not sure that's enough to stop turn chats.

C.1.a. ... The President is responsible for following the legal instructions of all Leaders during play of the game.

The President is limited to following legal instructions from leaders. From custom (admittedly not law - there is nothing about turn chats in the Constitution), the President is responsible for the scheduling of, and running of, all turn chats.

I don't think that allowing turn chats to be suspended is a good thing for the game. I can easily see circumstances where a determing group of people could stop turn chats.

The current situation is being made worse by the failure to elect a JA (due to both candidates resigning to take different positions). We the citizens caused this part of the problem.

I also believe the only way to stop turnchats is to let the moderators of the forum stop THE WHOLE GAME...!

anyways, im completely against replaying of save before the last turnchat.

i remember you: we are not trying to play a optimal game... we are pretending to be a nation :-)
so as donsig took the actions he took, we must live with it imho... same for the next turnchats... we should continue and live with the situations....

i dont even know if we can have donsig suspended as president until the charges are propperly filed and until he is poscecuted... though....

SIDENOTE:
i told you to give the judicacy more power ;-) now we have the result... we have a president obviously many people dont want and have to live with it (this thing remembers me of some demogame before this one)...

ONLY SOLUTION INSIDE OUR LAWS IMHO:
live with it, and hurry to get the pi done and him removed :--)
until then, act as normal...

2nd sidenote: and also reserve some energy to cope with the results of the last turnchat rather than putting all your power into the pi!
