BOB DYLAN'S ROCKIN OUT!
I had an idea for an SG a while ago involving being a Democracy for the whole game and playing very honorably. But then I created CG9 and put it on the back burner. I wanted to have two SGs going at once though, but then I noticed that an SG already exists with this idea. So I tweaked it a little bit, and came up with this one. Here goes:
Civ: Russia.
Map: Standard, Continents, Temperate. The usual. Created in a scenerio, to mod the governments. I have fiddled with resources and luxuries.
Level: Emperor.
Enemies: Max.
Variant: Time for the good stuff.
- This map has been modded in the editor so we start under a Communist government. We are to stay in this government for the entire time.
- Whether or not its a myth in real history, we are to aggressively expand the communist party to other countries. Since we can't convert countries to communism, what does this mean? Conquest. Conquest and Domination are the only two acceptable victories (all are on).
- Note: I'm beginning to dabble into a Realms Beyond game here, so I'll at least cite the source.
- It is highly suggested that we build only the ideal number of cities for a large map. If someone could tell me that exact number, it would be great. I think its like 21. We can bulid more, but this will not help us as Communists - the more cities you have under communism, the more the communal corruption.
- The above point brings up a variant rule I'd like to have the players argue over. Are we to keep the land we conquer, which would greatly hurt our civ by giving us too many cities, or are we to raze all of it? I vote for razing every city we conquer, and only keeping cities we build ourselves.
- We must be faithful to our workers, the backbone of our society. Therefore, we will never keep slaves - but we will never disband them either. Every slave we conquer must be either returned to the Civ it came from OR joined into a nearby city.
- Our workers will not be roaming freelancers. They are lower-class men with steady jobs and families, and to tear them from their home would be a crime of the highest order. Therefore, all workers must be built by the city they work for. When there is absolutely no work left from them to do on their home city, they will be joined back into the city. Cities can buid more than one worker, but these workers must not travel outside their home city. (Therefore I suggest we name all our workers to avoid confusion. Something like "St. Petersburg 1".) Once railroads are discovered, however, this rule will be nullified. (Thanks Puzzlinon!)
- Our enemies will start in Monarchy. They may become communist, and if they are, they are immediately to be considered allies. If we are at war with them and they become communist, then we are to make peace immediately. The only way we are allowed to war with a communist nation is if they are the last country left and we are forced to destroy them to win.

Myself - I will be gone on weekends unless otherwise specified.
