As opposed to the other thead that talks about how to set production goals this thread is for the actual goals themselves.
I started the other thread because I thought it would do no good to talk about balancing production goals unless we have a mechanism to do so.
Nevertheless, here is a stake in the ground for a balanced approach for the next 2 weeks.

Nevertheless, here is a stake in the ground for a balanced approach for the next 2 weeks.
- We have just the right amount of military, if it is used correctly. We should base our production of military units on specific needs, not because it's just something to do. This needs to be balanced with the military strategy -- if the line is not going to be withdrawn then maybe 1 spear per city, nothing more.
- The popular choice of strategy is spaceship. We need to be the tech leader if we want to pursue this goal. The science-oriented buildings (library, university) need to be a priority in the cities which have low corruption.
- In medium corruption areas, the first thing in the queue beyond maybe a defender should be courthouses. Rushing courthouses should be a possible consideration.
