Previous turn chat thread.

This will be an on-line game play session. :)

We built a few more cities, two of them forming the Grand Southern Canal on the Peninsula. We have made great strides this term is filling our land with cities but there are still a few more good city sites left.

We have learned the advances of astronomy and banking. We are currently working on a printing press as we drive towards democracy.

The advent of astronomy opened up several trading possibilities for us. We are now importing English silks, Japanese spices and German ivory. The importation of Russian gems also continues.

We have completed our first wonder, the Sisitine Chapel, in the great city of Gorina. We are currently working on Copernicus's Observatory in Memphis. It is currently 20 turns from completion.

We have shortened The Line in an effort to get all of our cities garrisoned.

NOTICE: Please reserve this thread for instruction posts by Department Leaders. This is not a discussion thread.

As of now, the the Tech queue for the Science Department is as follows:

Printing Press
Democracy
Economics

Please keep the SciRate up as high as 80% - 90%.

Please allocate a couple of mines from River Crossing to put in Memphis' NW city borders to help with production of Copernicus' Observatory.

After Analizing the Front I have determined, it is finally the time to abondon the line (including elite Warrior and Legion on the Aztec line), all but 3 settlable squares in our Territory have been claimed. Meaning that these tiles can much better be defended by 3 units then wasting 11 units on making an impenetrable sheild to the north. And our cultural borders will soon encompass those tiles, meaning that we may be able to even forgo fortifying units on those tiles. Even if we do we can quickly respond to any passive settler threat, by filling those tiles.

like I said this will free up 12 Legions (including the one to the south line) for use in addition to those currently holding in Gorina. (units in cities on the line should remain where they are)

(these following troop movements can be taken both pools of Legions mentioned as the DP sees fit)

7 should go to garrisoning the undefended cities below

Nur Gisnod
Slice of Bacon
South Bootia
DePaolo
PDX III
Seven Hills
Chieftess

Reinforce the following cities with 1 extra Legion each (in order of priority).

New Jedina
Elephantine.
Memphis
River Crossing.

The remaining spare legions should be used for Police duty.

Specifically two to Penguiadua and one to Nar Shaddaa.

Yet Another City: Library (29)
Gingerbread City: Courthouse (5), Library
Bootia: Temple (6), Courthouse
DePaolo: Temple (29)
Shaitan: Temple (46)
Cold Harbor: Temple (51)
Malvern Hill: Temple (54)
South Bootia: Library (23)

Don't break any treaties.

Again, we have nothing to deal with. All the other civs are still broke, except China.

These are my last words for the single player game. It's the MSDG for now on.:goodjob:

Oops, sorry got caught up at work and missed the starting bell...

Same slider instructions as usual, keep in the range +10gpt to -10gpt except for last turn before a tech is discovered, then minimize.

It is OK to move workers to the Memphis area to improve shields, if we're still building / prebuilding there.
