=============RULES==============RULES==========
The Rules
Of your 12 players you must choose 7 who will play for the week. You MUST play 1 QB, 1-2 RB's*, 2-3 WR's*, 1 TE and 1 Kicker. (you may choose to play 2 RB's and 2 WR's or 1 RB and 3 WR's. you CAN NOT choose 3 RB's and 1 WR.) Your remaining 5 players will not play and their stats will not count. If one of your players gets injured during a game, you are stuck with whatever, if any, stats he accumulates for that game. (See injuries for more info below) You are free to juggle around your starting 7 players week by week. Your starting players must be turned into me (via post or pm) PRIOR to the FIRST game of the week. In the event of a Thursday night game, your starters must be in before kickoff Thursday night. If I do not recieve notification of any changes before the first game of the week, you will use your starters from the week before. (Even if your player is injured or has a bye week)
1 MOVE PER WEEK RULE REWRITE
Everyone is allowed 1 move per week. This move can be made for whatever reason: injury, bad play or because he has red hair and you hate red heads. It doesn't matter. It also does not matter what position he plays. If you want to swap a QB for an RB you may do so, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE MINIMUM AT EACH POSITION. This must be done on TUESDAYS-SATURDAYS (or one hour before kickoff in the event of a Thursday night game) with a POST saying who you are selecting and who you are cutting. In the event two teams pick the same player, the team who posts first will get him. The other team will have to pick someone else.
TRADES
Trades with other teams will be allowed. You may trade amongst yourselves as much as you wish. This will NOT count as your 1 move per week. I will need a confirmation post from both teams before the start of the week's games.
TRADE DEADLINE IS WEEK 10! There will be no more trades allowed after Week 10's games start!
THE POINTS
6 points per rushing/recieving Touchdown
4 points per passing Touchdown
1 point per 10 yards rushing/recieving
1 point per 25 yards passing
5 points per Successful 50+ yard Field Goal
4 points per Successful 40 - 49 yard Field Goal
3 points per Successful 39 and less yard Field Goal
*Your players may recieve points for more than one category. For instance, if your QB is Mike Vick and he passes for 310 yards and 2 passing Touchdowns AND rushes for 100 yards and 1 rushing Touchdown, he will get points for everything. So, in this case, he would get 12 points for yards passing, 8 points for passing Touchdowns, 10 points for yards rushing and 6 points for the rushing Touchdown. In all he would earn you 36 points.
The total number of points your starting lineup recieves for the week will determine your score. If you have more points than the team you are playing you win the game. If you have less points than the team you are playing you lose. For example, Team 1 (me) plays Team 2 (Azale) the first week. If my players combine for a total of 400 points and Azales players combine for a total of 410 points, then Azale wins the game. My record would be 0-1 and Azale's 1-0.
SEASON SCHEDULE
We will play 13 regular season games and 2 playoff games. Each team will play his/her 4 confrence rivals 2 times and his/her 5 non confrence opponents once. At the end of week 13, the top 4 teams advance to the winners bracket and the remaining 4 teams will move to the conselation bracket.
PLAYOFFS
Playoffs begin Week 14 of the NFL regular season. There are 2 rounds in the playoffs. Round 1 takes place during weeks 14 AND 15. Round 2 (final round) takes place weeks 16 AND 17. Each playoff team is allowed to change their active roster between EACH WEEK of playoff play. All teams will play during the playoffs. The top 4 teams (East confrence champ, West confrence champ, and 2 wild card teams*) will compete for the league championship. The remaining teams will play for better placing in the final standings but cannot win the championship. The standing will be based on win/loss records. The team with the best record from the East Confrence is the East Division winner. The team with the best record from the West Confrence is the West Division winner. Out of remaining teams, the two with the best records will be the Wild Card teams.
*The 2 wild card teams can be from EITHER division. They could be both from the same division or not.
## In the event of a tie at the end of week 13, we will use the following tie-breakers:
1. Head-to-Head Record - If the 2 teams in question have played each other twice and Team A beat Team B both times, then Team A gets the tie-break. If the two teams split the games, then we move on to tie break number 2.
2. Overall Points - the team with the most total points for the season will get the tie-break. If there is still a tie we go to number 3.
3. Division Record - the team with the best division record will get the tie-break
PLAYOFF SCHEDULE
ROUND 1 - Of the top 4 teams, the Division winner with the best record will play the Wild Card team with the worst record. The other Division winner will play the Wild Card team with the best record. The remaining teams will battle for final placing in the standings.
