I originally planned to have the Hanseatic League as the 31th civ, but I found a much more realistic way to implement them. So what do you think should be the 31th civ? Im still open to suggestions, but please vote anyway.

these are the existing civs:

Tuscany
Poland
Byzantine Empire
Caliphate of Cordova
Holy Roman Empire
Kievan Rus
Kingdom of Jerusalem
Aragon
Hungary
France
Saracens
Sassanids
Sweden
Bohemia
Kingdom of Sicily
England
The Golden Horde
Castille
Denmark-Norway
Turks
Scotland
Abbasid Caliphate
Burgundy
Venetia
Teotonic Order
Almohads
Novgorod
Armenia
Portugal
Bulgaria

BTW im looking for people who would like to test the MEM, send me a pm if you´re interestet:)

Serbia, although closely followed by Ireland.

I know, it's a bit late to make suggestions (I haven't really followed the development process), but why do you have the Holy Roman Empire and Bohemia seperated, but not the other German principalities. In the Middle Ages, Bohemia was by no means outstanding to the other principalities (beside from just being an important one of them)

Bohemia were not always German(Holy Roman), it was a independent state untill Emperor Otto captured it around 1030(I think), the mod starts 610AD. In the late medieval age it became independent again, it just remained a member of the HRE. And culturally it has always been seperated from the HRE.

The Kingdom of Bohemia, like the Kingdoms of Italy (Lombardy) and Burgundy, weren't part of the Kingdom of Germany. Italy, Burgundy and Bohemia became attatched to the Empire, but they retained their own status as kingdoms. The German principalities were not Kingdoms, they were duchies, margravates, etc, etc, forming part of the Kingdom of Germany.

This definitely gives Bohemia, etc, special status. Even England was part of the Empire once, but it was always a kingdom.

BTW, glad you got rid of the Hanseatic League. I'm going for Lithuania, although all of the options are sensible. I think you you should have Lombardy instead of Tuscany as well, since Tuscany was part of the Kingdom of Italy. I think I know why you added Tuscany though, because of Renaissance Florence. Right? ;)

Damn it, where did my 2nd reply go? Don't mind, starting the mod in 610 justifies Bohemia anyway.
In terms of influence, the Papal State could have been another choice.

Difficult considering that he made Burgundy start in Arles (first kingdom of Burgundy-Provence) which leaves too little place...

I'm voting Irish cause I am!

Since I'm not to familiar with this much detail of Euro history, Would the Vikings be the Denmark-Norway?

The Vikings were never a country, Denmark-Norway and Sweden are vikings.

Unless the poll changes im proberly going to have Lithuania. However please vote if you havent already:)

Serbia. At their height they controlled most of southeastern Europe, an area which is missing civs in your mod. They were historically the most important south slavic civ.

Of course, once conquests is out, you are going to add Bosnia as one of the 7 new ones right ;) ?

The 7 new civs in C3C are gonna be: Serbia, Kroatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Hercegovina. ;)

YAY!!! Now if only we could figure out some sort of "scenario" that would somehow include all 7 of them.... :hmm:

I new the Vikings weren't actually a country. They never really had a real king (just a 100 Jarls):viking: :king: :viking:. But their presence was felt by all the northern countries. At least everybody veered around them when they met them, usually, right [punch] ? Like I said, I'm not to familiar with Euro-History. I just know a lot of Viking trivia.
Anyway. I thought Sweden might be part of that. Do they have the beserk unit or something similiar?
I did vote. If the Irish aren't in then I'll probly play the Denmark-Norway or Sweden mostly. After all beggars can't be choosey. Well, they can, but then they don't get much either. :nono:
This mod looks great so far anyway and I will try it when finished. Regardless.:goodjob:

:rotfl: I have no idea what that could be. Maybe some sort of "Rise of Byzantium"-scenario? (Where is Xen when you make a joke about Byzans? )
Or maybe a "Lets kill all our neighbours"-scenario. I'm not joking about this, this is the most tragic event in the last 50 years of European history. I think all Europeans should be ashamed about this. I know I am. :( Sorry for the threadjack, everyone.

hmm, Serbia is leading. Though I MIGHT still go for Lithuania, becuase of gameplay reasons. (The Balkans already have Hungary, Bulgaria and Byzantium, so its pretty crowded).
