Apologies for the extremely belated posting of this thread.
The main empasis for the upcoming turnchat is the renewal of some of our previous deals. This being the the most profitable which expires in 2 turns:
(Fanatica) <-> Furs + 41gpt (China)
I do not expect that we will be able to get a renewal of this without trading ToG to them and cancelling our expired but still extant Dyes for gpt deal with them in order that we can include Dyes in the negotiation of this more important trade.
On the same turn, this deal will expire:
(Fanatica) <-> Spices (Japan)
However we have a few obsolete techs to trade them which should make it fairly cheap to renew.
This deal will expire in 7 turns time:
(Fanatica) Wines <-> 10gpt (Persia)
However I would recommend not attempting to renegotiate it until the Persians decide to cancel it. We don't want to risk having them turn around and offer us a lesser sum for it when they might have continued to pay the current rate for a few more turns if we'd left them alone.
Expiring in 8 turns' time is this deal:
(Fanatica) <-> Gems (Russia)
Again I suspect that we will have to trade a fairly current tech (Physics) to them if we wish to secure a renewal. Whether we are prepared to do so is of course up to you.
Finally, we have the option of carrying out this new trade:
(Fanatica) Dyes <-> Free Artistry + WM + 9gpt + 122g (Germany)
While we do not have any use for Free Artistry anymore, the money would not go amiss and the Germans WM is the most expensive in the world at present, so probably the most extensive.
Obviously given the time constraints I've managed to place ourselves under this will not be polled, so be sure to make your opinions on which trades we should carry out as clear as possible when posting here.
