Welcome to the term 5 science discussion thread. This is the thread for discussing about things such as research ques, and other things the science department has control of. Just for reference, the current research que is Replacable Parts, followed by Sanitation, followed by The Corporation.

That will be great if it works, but if someone else researches these techs while we're waiting for our wonders to complete, we'll be at parity or even behind. The key is to watch trade possibilities often, maybe even every turn. To make the low research tactic work, we need to sell at monopoly or near monopoly prices, and the techs we need must be available.
 
Once we have completed the Dam, and traded around AT and E, I would like to see a brisk technology pace. Not that fastest possible, but only a notch or two slower.

Not counting Refining (which we get in 1 turn from now), we have 6 techs to the Modern Age (Combustion, Steel, Flight, Mass Production, Motor Transport and Radio). I'd like to see Fanatica concentrate only on the required techs, allowing the AI to hit the optional techs. We can trade newer techs for the optional ones as needed.
