ANNOUNCEMENT!
After the chat on this Sunday (Sept. 14), the next chat will be on Saturday, Sept. 20th.
We've been going at a breackneck pace from the start of my term, and I feel it has caused some strains. This pause will allow everyone to take a deep breath and give people the time time to analyze the current situation. A great deal will have changed since the term began. We have built from scratch the most important wonder of the Industrial age, along with Universal Suffrage. Our economy has grown tremendously, even as our workforce has doubled!
We are entering the tail end of the Industrial Age where no new city improvements are researched. We have a window of about 30 turns or so where the improvements available are pretty fixed. It's a great time to plan for the future.
During this pause, I would like for all Governors and Mayors to review the improvements in their lands, and the buildings within their cities. I would like for all Executive Branch members to review the goals of their office - I will be doing the same.
I am planning on conducting a "feedback" session on Wednesday night (Sept. 17, starting around 7:00 CDT, 00:00 GMT) - an open, free-for-all discussion on progress we've made and the discussions that have been raised. If you cannot make it, feel free to PM your comments to me, or post them here.
Thanks!
