Venice city graphic

Ekmek, when will you ever cease to amaze me? Thus far, all of you city gfx are marvelous! Kudos! :goodjob:
 
I just think the abscence of roads is a lil strange...I think I might edit it so there are roads...
 
Its very nice, but isn´t it too big to fit into the normal city graphics?
 
I would shrink it if I had a good enough pcx handling program...:(
 
Its a little big and I'll adjust it. Its actually based on my blank frame I'm going to use to make this a static Unit that you can place in a coastal tile on world map scenarios for a minor civ effect.

Since people like it though, I'll adjust it to make a set of one era graphics.
 
These are some Venice ones I designed (preview), though I edited old buildings unlike Ekmek who has gone to the trouble of using whole new graphics to create Venitian cities.

Those are good, Xerxes, but I think Ekmek's has much more of a Spanish feel to them...Don't take this the wrong way, though! Good job! I say u should post them! :goodjob:

I didn't know Venice was in Spain.:lol:

Anywho I think what you are trying to say is that the red roofs look more Baroque to which I would agree. In my cities I tend to modify existing Civ graphics.

And as for posting mine, well I have a few more I am designing so I will wait and post it with the others...
 
Ekmek, if you like using graphics from other games you should check out Age of Empires. They have some pretty basics for medieval cities.
 
Yes, please do the Greek Cities! I really need them for my Peloponnesian War scen. and I don't have AoE...:(
