Destroying Palace with a Trebuchet?

I posted a message a couple of weeks ago regarding destroying an AI capital's Palace with my trebuchet. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a screenshot in time before the little message disappeared from the screen. I had this happen again today, so I reloaded the game to the beginning of my turn and did everything the same and again, my trebuchet took out the Vikings' Palace. I got a screenshot this time. Has anyone else seen this?
 
I can't figure out how to post the screenshot. Help?
 
Interesting! Can you bombard your own capital until your palace is destroyed to jump it to another place?

You cannot use your units against your civ unless bombarding a road.
 
In a game i was playing I not only destroyed an AI's palace with a trebuchet, I also destoyed the Great Wall...
 
I can't get the file uploaded due to the size constraints listed in the forums. Anyway, I destroyed the Vikings' palace one turn and the next turn, I destroyed the Colossus. I didn't mean to, but it just happened. Besides, I thought bombarding now always hit units first, then buildings...

There is something called Upload File at the buttom of this page, there you can upload big files. Then post the pic with the IMG tag.
 
go into the bugs section and look at the announcment. Chieftess explains it.

But you don't have to bombard the capital.Just build the palace in another city,when finished it will be relocated in the new city.

He had hoped to 'jump' his palace by destroying it rather than to waste time building it somwhere else.

If you really want to 'jump' your palace, you actually can do it by abandoning your current capital...

Um, yes...
But I guess the point was, can you use this for jumping palace AND still keep your starting city?
 
It is a known bug relating to the Great Wall wonder.

And nobody has bothered to file a bug report on it. If anyone wants the bug that causes bombardments to destroy palaces and wonders fixed, then there should be a bug report on it in the bug report forum.

With no bug report, then I guess there isn't a problem.......;)
