Best AI competition

do u have any idead how boring this will be? all the ai making allies with them self, signing secret pacts against the spectator...:)

I think I can see how this could work quite well, however, it would be very boring to watch.

The tough part would be that you would need to play it over and over to find any significant trend. (Any one game turns on strokes of luck. If you don't believe me, go back and replay a game saved in the year 4000 BC. Different civs get wiped out, and different ones come to dominate, each time you play.)

Not only that, but even if you replayed 10 or 20 games and found that a certain combination (say industrious-militaristic) was tending to win, THEN you would need to try this out in a number of gaming conditions: larger world, smaller world, more civs, fewer civs, more resources, less resources, etc.

Yes, but we wouldn't do that. The nice people at Firaxis games would! Still, upon further consideration, I think you are right. You probably wouldn't find any noticeable trends.

Oh yeah sounds fun.

First AI attacks city with one kngiht - second Ai attacks city with one knight

Firsty Ai attack city with one cavalry - second Ai attack city with one cavalry

ad infintium

This is exactely why the competition should be held, to avoid this from happening. :D

Thanks for making it so clear.

Welcome back to the forums BTW.
