This is map I made for my Persian scenario. It is for Conquest only.

edit: I did a fix, forgot to put in Goody Huts and a few starting locations.

Enjoy:

I never wrote anciant:rolleyes:

I made a small update, I forgot goody huts and the Arab starting location so please re-download.

He he I was waiting for someone to comment that;)

They have the same capital so I thought, what the heck I'll give them the same starting location, one on each side of the canal. Im playing a game on it, and both civs seem to work fine even though their capital doesn't have as much land as the others(I put a few resources in to make the area better).

BTW how can you see the map if you dont have C3C?

Very cool. I converted the Mesopatamian Conquest to it and it was quite fun.

hey bombshoo maybe you could post that? Then I'll put it in the download.

If you play the Mesopotamian Conquest on this map, you would probably have to add a few civs.

An Indus civ seems to be needed out west. You would also either have to split Media and Persia, or add Assyria and move Media/Persia to the place they ended up settling. (Which, conveniantly, is where they are on the map :D )

Good map, btw, Yoda

Ah, new avatar, Yoda. I rather like it ...

Was thinking 'bout combining the map with the TAM rules, and add some extra civs (eg, Lydians and Kolchians). If I got 'round doing that, would you like to add it to the package?

Louis- Your right, but some people wouldn't mind a but unbalanced game anyway.

TLC-Sure I would include that too:)

sort of like how "Midevil" is spelled "medieval"...? :mischief:

Now, I'd be very interested to hear why prefixing 'mid-' to 'evil' should yield 'medieval'. Moreover, it would be asking for people to interpret it as meaning "pertaining to the Middle Ages".

Ok, here's the map adapted for TAM.

Important: To use this version, you must have TAM 2.1 installed in your CIV3PTW\Scenarios folder!

Notes:
- Resources are randomized. I've however tried getting all of the "landmark" resources right, so tell me if you find unexpected area names!
- The Huns are placed on the Amu Darya to make sure the Medians and Persians do not expand east all too unopposedly. The rationalization is that they represent the Ephthalites, a nomadic people also known as the White Huns.
- Despite this, the "civ density" falls sharply from west to east; you may want to pick your opponents by hand if you use less than all (which is rather recommended - 16 civs is alot on a 100x100 map!).
- Start locs are placed rather ... impressionistically. I might someday go over them again for balance and accuracy, but can't be bothered for now.
- When you set civ slots to random, for some reason also civs unchecked in the "Playable Civs" box get included. I'll fix this as soon as someone tells me how!
