Well I'm getting a little sick of my two submarine animation, so as a break, I'm making a basic flag, "Capture the Princess" is really "Capture the Flag," so I thought a flag to replace the princess migh interest some people. It's going to be based on the flag in my Submarine Victory animation. Hope you guys like it. I'll post a preview once I have something to post, and as always, I'd love your feedback.

Okay, I'm going to make one minor change on the default as well to prevent possible ghost pixels (thanks Wyrmshadow).
 
If you didn't refer to anything in the default, it wouldn't play anything. OTOH you need the last frame of that animation, so I guess you better refer to default anyways.

I'm thinking of making this fidget, and making default just a ripple running thread it. Thoughts on that? Death will be the stick breaking, and the flag falling to the ground. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about fortify though, how do you fortify a flag?
 
If you had a guy with it, you could have him stick it into the ground. I say just make an animation with a last frame different fom the general look of the default animation, so that it will be easy to see if it's fortified or not (don't know why it would matter). Then make that animation the fortifiy anim.

I just need to do fortify (still in the plannign stages), and death now. Opinion on the default?
 
If you have no fortify, and you dont specify any animation in the INI, then it will just show the default animation, moving. I think that would look cooler than a flag just standing still.

It looks pretty cool, but I think it would look better if it were isometric. Everything looks better if it conforms with the rest of the game graphics. Interresting idea, though. They should do a LOTR mod, capture the ring :D.
