I have a problem in a scenario; Artillery units upon capture, turn into Slave Workers.

Here is the situation.

The green units represent Iraq, the red represent Iran. The bottom three red units from left to right are Worker, G-48 Arty (Radar Artillery), and Artillery. The Iran unit at the top is a Fixed Gun (Cannon). The G-48 Artillery is only available to Iran, so it should be destroyed upon capture.

Now this is what happens when the Iraqi units capture these guys. The Fixed Gun (Canon) actually does go into Iraqi hands. Good! The Worker turns into a Slave Worker for Iraq. Good! However, the G-48 Arty (Radar Artillery) also turns into a Worker. It’s supposed to get destroyed! The Artillery unit, also turns into a Slave Worker. It’s supposed to become an Iraqi Artillery unit.

Now, NO unit in this scenario has the Enslave, or Stealth ability enabled. The only difference from any of these units to what you are used to in the Epic Game, is that the Cannon is Immobile.

I’ve tried other things under the ‘Units’ page, to figure it out.
1. I removed the Immobile tag from the Fixed Gun (Cannon). Result was that nothing changed as before.

2. Currently the pre-requisite tech for Artillery is ‘none’, I changed that to ‘Gunpowder.’ Result was that nothing changed as before.

3. I made the Fixed Gun (Cannon) ‘upgradable’ to a G-48 Arty (Radar Artillery). Result was nothing changed as before.

Next I moved onto the ‘General Settings’ page, to figure it out.

1. I changed the ‘Default Captured Unit’ from ‘Worker’ to ‘Artillery.’ Result was that the Worker, G-48 Arty (Radar Artillery), and the Artillery ALL turned into Artillery. The Fixed Gun (Cannon) however, continued as before. It was just an Iraqi Fixed Gun (Cannon) and did NOT turn into an Artillery unit.

2. Next, I changed the ‘Default Captured Unit’ to ‘None.’ Result was that the Worker, G-48 Arty (Radar Artillery), and the Artillery ALL vanished into thin air. Even though I got the “units have been captured” message, the units were not there. The Fixed Gun (Cannon) however, continued as before. It was just an Iraqi Fixed Gun (Cannon) and it did NOT vanish into anything.

For some reason the Fixed Gun (Cannon) is not affected at all, by the ‘Default Captured Unit’ in the ‘General Settings’ page. I don’t know what else to try, so I need some ideas from you all. Also, I’ve attached the .biq file, if anybody wants to take a look at it in the Editor. To see if you all can find out, where I screwed up.

I think Ekmek's solved it. The Fixed Gun does not have a pop cost, and the other units do.

The simple solution is removing the pop cost from them, of course.

The GHN-5 might be given a defense factor of one instead, practically ensuring it's destroyed if attacked, but no similar fix is possible for the Artillery as long as it's meant to be capturable.
