The zip features a read me, Egypt.biq and Egyptcities.biq

I got banned from my (the families:rolleyes:) computer and haven't been able to work on my civ projects however my mum bought me conquests for christmas so i was aloud to play the computer now i've got back into modding and creating and have Restarted that swordsman even though this map is really detailed I still prefer yours Loulong

Well, they don't fit for the same role.
Basically it is impossible to do navigable rivers in Civ3. I mean of course there were usually ferries and not bridges on the Nile but anyway, it is difficult to make the Nile impassable and if you make it passable then there are chokepoints, but that is definitely not your mistake.

One question though : what did you make oasis so large ? Oasis are often a well that irrigates a land that then becomes fertile, it is rarely lake-like.

well they needed to be able to sustain enough cities for a a Hyskos expulsion scenario where they were used as contact points between Nubia and the Hyskos I really didn't notice they were too big untill about 3:00 in the morning when i walked a few warriors around them and the nile being impassible is the effect i wanted to achieve(see discussion thread)

That's probably civ's greatest downside :( Not being able to get navigationable rivers. They should include that in Civ 4! That there are 2 types of rivers: navigational and non-navigational. It'll make it a lot more realistic.

@ Mr Funkypants yeah it is a downside but They've had rivers like this since the beginning i don't think they chage it.

@ JaRoSz yeah shore as long as credit is included;) although you wait until i post an update

@ everyone The update will feature smaller oasis' and tripled movement stats on all units for the reason Standard map 100x100, my map 300x300, my map is 3 times larger so units will be made 3 times faster to accomidate this
