What does the concept of an avatar mean to you?
Perhaps it represents your mood, perhaps it represents what you want to be, or perhaps something else?
Example #1:
When I see a pretty young lady in an avatar, my first reaction is "this person wants me to go easy on them"
Example #2:
When I see a comical cartoon character I feel it represnts the members personality. Normally good humoured.
Example #3:
When I see images of war machines or weaponry I get the impression that the member has strong nationalist views and will be easy to work up
Example #4:
I suppose it's fair to say what I see when I see my own avatar. It's a shield over a flag. The shield is supposed to represent me(it's not 100% accurate), and it shows that I will protect that flag. I probably don't do a good job of that but at least I know that I mean well
Other threads like this have concentrated on explaining your own avatar so I would like to put emphasis on what do you see in other people's avatars and does it affect your behaviour?
