T&T - Trade Republic around ?

Shall we trade our newly learned tech - The Republic around ?

There is unfortunately too little time to hold another poll, in case the vote here is "Yes, trade Republic around". Therefore I ask every "Yes-voter" to specify which Civ's we are to trade it to and for what.

Options:
- Yes, we should trade Republic around. (please specify to whom and for what.
- No, Republic is too precious to trade it to others (yet).
- Abstain.

Germany Already have it. Since none of the other civs we know have it, and they haven't got any new contacts for sale, they must have researched it themselves. Just imagine, a civ with the Great Library researching techs ...

Russia, our allies. They offer Monotheism + WM + 12 gold, or Monotheism + 42 gold or WM + 84 gold.

Egypt offer Alliance Vs Babs + WM + 37 gold. They have no unknown techs, contacts or gpt. They also sign without alliance.

Greece offer Monotheism + WM + 4 gold. They will sign alliance Vs Babs, but then we can't get Monotheism from them.

India Pays WM + 119 gold + Alliance Vs Babs. They'll pay the same without the alliance.

Babylon Offers Peace + Monotheism + WM + 39 gold. This would require breaking the alliance Vs them with the Russians.

This Poll will remain opened for 48 hours (the TC has already finished then), IIRC.

Yes. Trade it as long as we can get monotheism (and more) for it. To everybody but Babylon.

Whether we sign new alliances depends on our goal: do we want to continue fighting Babylon? I am in favor of continued warfare. With everybody involved to slow down tech pace.

But we should also switch to republic ASAP. There is no immediate threat to one of our cities and delaying it cripples us.

I'm In favor of trading it. If Germany has it already, let us take advantage of it.

I'd prefer to trade it to everyone except babylon, for everything there offer, but the alliance's.

Yes, to Russia first for Mono and Gold (for upgrades). Then get as many alliances as you can.
