Our people are unhappy. They work few tiles and thus produce less shields, generate less commerce, generate less city growth. :(

This has to change. I want to propose the following:
  1. increase the lux slider to 10% ; we regain some of the cost by working more tiles and thus it will cost only about 5 gpt
  2. once we have connected the southern dyes, trade dyes for Greek incense, adding the money needed (about 5-10 gpt); this also assures incense, since the AIs are willing to prolong deals unless a war breaks out with them; part of the money wil be recovered by the stipulated growth
  3. spend our money on hurrying a cathedral in Groton to prepare for the building the Forbidden palace. Please note that 1 and 2 make hurrying the Groton cathedral unnecessary and benefit all our cities, not just Groton. And the FP build can start 2 turns earlier.
  4. no
  5. other (please specify)
  6. abstain
    [/list=1] You may tick more than one choice.
    This poll will not be finished until the next turnchat, but since it is unofficial this does not worry me. In any case it gives an indication of the peoples' view.

    This poll is independent of the fact, that I personally would not build the FP in Groton.

As I also mentioned in other threads, I support the use of our trade routes and luxury settings, instead of the rush of the cathedral, from which only Groton will benefit.

I fully support the trade Incense option. Especially connecting the dyes so we can trade them further is exactly what I want. Unfortunately it will take some time (war always disrupts trades for a too long period of time).

Until that time the lux-slider will have to do.

Trade = Life !!

2 turns: the current roads are finished next turn; then we should move 3 workers plus 4 slaves on the gap and they will finish the road in 1 more turn.
