Here they are! :D

I'm updating the webpage with the links, and that should be sorted-out in a couple of hours.

For those of you who can't wait, download the saves from these links:

edit: <snip>

Just in case there were some of you who didn't realise it, the saves in this link were an April Fools' prank. The 'real' saves are in the GOTM announcement page. See the link below. ;)

Enjoy!

Edit:

:hmm: I've been having severe problems trying to upload to the server - damn dial-up!

It looks like this may have caused some problems for other people - my apologies for that!

If you are having any problems with the files in the links above, you might want to try getting them direct from the GOTM website:
http://gotm.civfanatics.net/games/gotm30_spain.shtml
;)

@Ainwood- the PTW Predator link downloads the Open zip file. Actually, all the links point to the Open save file for the appropriate format.

:rotfl:

Bad Ainwood - Denyd spank you :spank:

Now you must remember in the pre game discussion that he hinted that he may make some slight alterations to the start position!;)

The only problem I had with the file in the link above was a conquest defeat in 13 minutes.........but I did see a nice polar bear walking by (oops, was that supposed to be in a spoiler?)

:crazyeye:
...
This is EVIL!!!
...
I just stared and stared and stared on that starting position like for I don't remember how long...

I will try to do my best, tho...
Even if it looks like a no win situation with those slight last minute changes.

hmmm...

Gogok, its the wrong file that you have. If you click on the new link that Ainwood has put up you will find the pre game screen shot start that was displayed and not an all tundra island!

It's been a long time since I even attempted a GOTM so after spending sometime downloading the tons of unit/graphic packs I am ready to be utterly humiliated :).

You know what the save actually worked to! *chris pats self on back for following directions*

Nice one.

Well, I'm a little late to the party, after downloading the Predator file last night, I saw the name was wrong, so never bothered to open it, and went to bed. After seeing this, I had to check it out! Nice job, Ainwood! That's one way to keep anyone from spotting stuff under the fog! ;)

Can we play GOTM in C3C? I have a cumbersome connection and it would take me so long to download v1.29 :(

Arrgh! Error!

[edit] picture removed, to avoid wasting your time ;)

I had this error by some older GOTM saves too. But i was able to load both GOTH 28 & 29 start files.

I also installed the three setups for GOTM 21,24 & 25

Can someone explain what i can do to get it working?

[edit] :wallbash: Arrgh. I forgot i reinstalled everything because of some trouble with the conquest 1.15 patch... Now it works.

@Favorious - here is a quote from the game announcement page.

Please do not attempt to play this game in any version of Civ3 Conquests. If you have the Civ3 Conquests Software you will definitely have the other two program choices available you just have to select and start with the appropriate software executable other than Civ3 Conquests

So, basically you should not play the Game of the Month with C3C try playing instead with Play the World software (available with C3C disk).

Hope this helps
