Our conditions for Peace with Egypt have been met! We have captured all three Egyptian cities on our continent and founded Kadessa on the red site by the fish. The terms on offer are as follows:

Option 1, Egypt pays:
  • 27 gold
  • 11 gold per turn
  • World Map
Option 2, Egypt pays:
  • Asyut
  • 27 gold
  • World Map
Each of these has it’s problems:

Option 1: involves a gpt deal which could mean we have to renegotiate peace whether we want to or not when the deal expires.

Option 2: what on earth would we do with Asyut, up there in the tunda?

So do we go for Peace, and if so what do we want for it?

Take the 11gpt deal. We don't need a city that might flip in 10 turns.

I favor the 11 gpt deal. It is much better to have 11 gpt (which translates to 220 gold over time) than to have a rather useless city on another continent that could flip at any time.

11 gpt. Reasons already stated.

I agree with everyone...:D

We can't use an city on another continent that will flip back. We can use the money.

Option 1 for me

Me too, me too :)

Option 1.

Option 1.

Has anyone expressed a preference for either option 2 or something other than option 1?

We'll allow them to express their preference at a later time, probably to troops in iron boxes that move without horses.

At least, that's what some guy called Nostredamus told me over a pitcher (or six) or beer last night.
