Research Power for the Industrial Times.

As outlined here, we should strengthen our research power. To coordinate this beyond the build orders posted (or regrettably sometimes not) of the individual governors, I want you the citizens to vote on this issue.

Do we build reserach/financial power as follows:

Switches now/build (in sequence of science power in the cities):

Vo Mimbre: university
Santa Lucia: library, market, university
Mure: market, university

This will also help to strengthen our culture, which is still weaker than Persia or even Egypt.

More libraries would be good and I will appeal to the governors, but these are the most important ones.

This proposal is too broad, and infringes upon the rights of our Governors. Coordination will be difficult, requiring constant supervision by someone.

Ideas and concepts like this are critical to the demogame, they provide the vision and direction we need. Such visions should be more generic, however, giving leaders a direction to go, not specific steps. Plans like this should be implemented through persuasion of individual leaders.
