Well, it took a while longer than I expected, but here it is. I'm attaching the final log of the combat system.
We're already building a spreadsheet with this data with a couple of friend, so hopefully we'll have a nice interpretation of the results and a couple of good ways to look at the statistics. I hope it doesn't take as long as it took me to collect the data
The format and syntax of the log is explained in the log itself. Keep in mind that, even though it's *very* long (44 pages of combat results), this is only 1 (one) game... if anybody else wants to log his own results using the same format, and he wants to send it to me to augment the spreadsheet with more data, I'll be eternally thankful. The more data we have, the more precise the output will be.
Anyway, here it goes... take a look at it. I know it's extremely boring to look at combat this way, but I promised I'll post it. So here I am...
A couple of things :
- I think that in 44 pages, there's only 1 naval combat logged. It was a Pangea land mass, so nobody really had a need for a navy. So sorry about that, it's virtually all land units.
- Artillery is logged only when a unit attacks a city and there's an artillery garrisoned there, that fires at the attacker.
So enjoy...
Peace...
