Where abouts on the compass do you fall onto? I just took the test at politicalcompass.org and heres my result:
Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: -1.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.82
The scores are between -10 (extreme left/libertarian) to +10 (extreme right/authoritiarian).
Just wondering where others fell on this test? Also some interesting graphs showing where political people fall on it. I am closest to the dalai lama, who is a good rolemodel i would say, but i'm more central and slightly less libertarian. (he's around a -5,-6 i rekon)

(from the last time I took it)

Economic -8
Social -4

Which puts me slightly to the left of Gandhi.

I'm not yet convinced of the lack of necessity of some form of state/education/care. But I'm well down and right, right about now ;)

Um... I think it's like -9.6, -8.5... Well, I'll remember once I post this since it's in my sig.

That was the last time I took it, I see the test has changed a little. Here are the new results (1,5 years later on)

Economic Left/Right: 5.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.18

A bit less authoritarian, but even more anti socialist

Wow, thats pretty extreme. As left economically as stalin, and verging on anarchist. impressive score!

I wouldn't take the score for granted, though, I support the free market, actually. I just don't support at all large corporations in any way, shape, or form, I'm for localized businesses. Hence, probably less left than that suggests. The almost anarchist part... yup. :)

This makes 10,000 times that this thread has resurfaced. I'm about -4,-4 according to them, but I'm actually more libertarian and less socialist than what the site sayss, since it doesn't ask for pertinent opinions (whether or not I like something doesn't mean I would disallow or allow it).

If I recall correctly, last time I scored (-.48, 0). So pretty much a bullseye.

Economic Left/Right: 2.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.97

I used to be more leftist in economics but as I've got older, started earning some money on my (part time albeit) and in general gained a more mature understanding of society/life etc I've moved slightly more Libertarian.

Wish there were "no opinion" options for a few of them...but anyway:
Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -2.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.82

Seemed to have moved a little to the left since the last time I took it...might have been the deciding factor in the case of "no opinions" where I might have just switched from disagree to agree.

Youre going to make me dig in the depths of the OT for the old political compass to find it arnt you? :p
