Is anyone up for a RaR PBEM. I am, so please post if you want to play.

For reference here is the link to the Rise and Rule thread in the Creation and Customization forum. [thread]100144[/thread]

Here is the play order.
classical_hero +8 Greece
Tboy +1 Siam
Forever Civ 0 Vikings
AluminumKnight -6 Egypt
Landmonitor -7 Babylon
von_Clausewitz -8 China

What we need to decide is whether we want any AI to be present in the game, what size map we want, the difficulty and what civ you want to be playing.

I'd be in for sure! Rise and Rule is a lot of fun.

I would suggest we use AI and a map that isn't too small.

Preferably not too high difficulty ... i'm not the greatest player around :D

Civ preference to follow.

How many players in total are you looking for ?

I second what Forever said... medium difficulty, AI and maybe a standard map?
I'll take Egypt for my civ.

Should we have barbs on? This is the most difficult part of the game as they are very strong and they do cause a lot of damage. In my most recent SP RaR, I am only now just getting the upper hand over barbs and I am only just in the Middle ages.

For my civ, I'll be Greece.
So it looks like four humans and for AI on a Standard map. So should we play the basic format or the extended game?

Is it to late to join, or can I still join?
If i can, i'd like to be Siam.

I'd say basic format, barbs on. Makes the game more interesting ;)

I'm on GMT+1.

By the way, when will we be starting the game? I'll be absent early afternoon 1 October-late evening 2 October (i.e this weekend). I might be able to play on Sunday, but definitely on Monday.

No barbs, but keep the goody huts. Barbs on RAR drive me crazy! :crazyeye:

I'm in (if possible). I like in Saskatchewan, which is basically central time, until daylight savings starts, then we're mountain time, or the other way round, I can't remember...

I'm fine with anything up to emperor. Let me know if there is room and I'll pick my civ.

The Barbs will have to be there if you want to have goody huts. Even on default setting they are ver difficult, but that is what makes RaR different.
