In case anyone is wondering, the title is a paraphrase of a line of dialogue spoken by the Second Doctor in The Five Doctors, referring to the changes in U.N.I.T. Headquarters.

I can only sympathize with the Doctor. Change that "fixes" what wasn't broken is annoying. Change that makes things aesthetically worse is not nice.

Oh, and to any courier bots circling out there, waiting to pounce on customers' rants: Go away.

Then buy an extra one? If you enjoy your hobbies, you should be willing to spend some money on them.

Actually the second doctor first said that "I don't like it" in terms of the changes to the TARDIS to the 3rd doctor in The Three Doctors in 1973.

The Five Doctors is what first came to mind, as I've seen it more recently.


My own RL rant about redecorating is related to the building where I live. The public areas used to have beige walls and blue carpeting. Now the walls are grey and the carpeting is mostly black. It's depressing. So they redecorated, and I don't like it.
 
While I may be biased, the last rant thread title was better. ;)
 
As a matter of Principle and/or Tradition; It is my duty as a CFC poster to criticize the thread title.
