These images are quite interesting and I just remembered them today, and started to look around for them. In a years time since I browsed through stuff like this, there has come more and more of them and I still find them amazing. So what do you think?

1. This is a classic.

2. Concentrate on the pic and what happens?

3. Another classic, but it still is one of the best :)

4. Move your head towards the screen and then back.

5. This one is new to me and freaks me out!

6. And finally one of the artist of all time, M. C. Escher, a true genius.

These are only a handful of the stuff I have. If you want more, please say so or do the job for me :) You possibly find stuff I never saw before.:)

But truly, this stuff is good.

More please...I am fascinated by this stuff because it proves that everything you see and take for granted is merely a product of the spin your brain puts on things.

What you see depends entirely on the brains interpretation of things...you may think that is not so profound, but if your brain decides something should be spinning, then by golly, it damn well will spin, whether it does in 'real' life or not. Picture 4 is a perfect example of this.

More please.

I concur.

That's good stuff.

No sex causes bad eyes? oooooook...

Very cool. I've seen most of them before but the blind spot one defintly takes the cake.

I'll repost my favourite, then :)
And I get a chance to post the colored version of this, which I spoke of in a past thread. :)

The blue squares on top of the left cube are of the same color than the yellow squares of the right cube.

In fact the color of both is gray.

Incredible...

I gotta say I can't beleive the last 2 posted. I bet if you put all three images in photoshop & zommed in on the squares in question you'd find out they were not the same color. Not even close.

Smalltalk that was a good one, I also liked the blindspot one though I have seen it before.

Here's another, does the outer ring seem to be expanding and the inner one contracting?

and the classic bulge

Edit: Gengis try and you will see.

Do you think we did not checked before ? :)

Last time I posted this picture, I had the same reactions ^^

Still it's true ^^

 Wow! Congrats, I'm not often wrong but when I am I admit defeat.

But I still disagree with the checkerboard one;)
